Abstract:
| This study examines the role of digital transformation in reshaping higher education toward human-centered learning. Using a mixed-method approach, data were collected from 12 universities across the Middle East to assess how digital platforms and artificial intelligence tools affect teaching strategies and student engagement. Findings indicate that integrating digital transformation initiatives enhances flexibility, accessibility, and personalized learning experiences. However, challenges include digital fatigue, skill gaps, and ethical concerns regarding data use. The study concludes that digital transformation should prioritize empathy, inclusion, and critical thinking to ensure that technology serves human development rather than replacing it. Policy recommendations include developing digital ethics frameworks and continuous faculty training for sustainable innovation. |
| الملخص تبحث هذه الدراسة في دور التحول الرقمي في إعادة تشكيل التعليم العالي نحو التعلم المتمركز حول الإنسان. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج المختلط، وجُمعت البيانات من 12 جامعة في الشرق الأوسط لتقييم أثر المنصات الرقمية وأدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي على استراتيجيات التدريس وتفاعل الطلبة. أظهرت النتائج أن مبادرات التحول الرقمي تعزز المرونة وسهولة الوصول وتجارب التعلم المخصصة، إلا أن التحديات شملت الإرهاق الرقمي وفجوات المهارات وقضايا أخلاقية تتعلق باستخدام البيانات. خلصت الدراسة إلى ضرورة أن يركز التحول الرقمي على التعاطف والشمولية والتفكير النقدي لضمان أن تخدم التكنولوجيا التنمية البشرية بدلاً من أن تحل محلها. وأوصت بوضع أطر لأخلاقيات التحول الرقمي وتدريب أعضاء هيئة التدريس باستمرار لدعم الابتكار المستدام |
