Abstract:
| This study investigates the impact of project-based learning (PBL) on the development of critical thinking skills among secondary school students. PBL is recognized as a learner-centered pedagogical approach that emphasizes active exploration, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. The research sample included 300 students from Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Morocco. Using an experimental design, the study compared two groups: a control group taught through traditional methods and an experimental group taught using PBL. Findings revealed that students in the experimental group demonstrated significantly higher levels of critical thinking, creativity, and self-confidence. Teachers also reported increased student engagement and deeper conceptual understanding. The study concludes that integrating PBL into secondary education curricula enhances critical thinking and prepares students for lifelong learning and professional challenges. |
| الملخص تبحث هذه الدراسة أثر التعلم القائم على المشاريع في تنمية مهارات التفكير النقدي لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية. يُعد هذا النوع من التعلم أحد الأساليب التربوية الحديثة التي تركز على المتعلم وتشجعه على الاستكشاف والتعاون وحل المشكلات الواقعية. شملت عينة الدراسة 300 طالب من السعودية وسوريا والمغرب. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج التجريبي بمجموعتين: مجموعة ضابطة درست بالطريقة التقليدية، ومجموعة تجريبية درست وفق منهج التعلم القائم على المشاريع. أظهرت النتائج أن طلبة المجموعة التجريبية حققوا مستويات أعلى في التفكير النقدي والإبداع والثقة بالنفس. كما أشار المعلمون إلى ارتفاع تفاعل الطلبة وتحسن فهمهم المفاهيمي العميق. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن دمج التعلم القائم على المشاريع في المناهج الدراسية للمرحلة الثانوية يعزز التفكير النقدي ويهيئ الطلبة للتعلم المستمر ومواجهة تحديات المستقبل المهني |
