The International Journal of Pedagogy and Professional Human Development Insights (IJPPHDI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing through a rigorous, fair, and transparent peer-review process.
Review Model
The journal follows a Double-Blind Peer Review system, whereby the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
Initial Editorial Assessment
Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation by the Editorial Office and the Editor-in-Chief to determine:
- Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.
- Compliance with the journal’s submission requirements.
- Originality and academic quality.
- Adherence to ethical and publishing standards.
Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be declined before external review.
External Peer Review
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant field.
Reviewers evaluate submissions based on:
- Originality and contribution to knowledge.
- Scientific and methodological rigor.
- Clarity of presentation.
- Relevance to the journal’s scope.
- Validity of findings and conclusions.
- Ethical compliance.
Editorial Decisions
Based on reviewers’ reports, one of the following decisions may be made:
- Accept without revisions.
- Accept with minor revisions.
- Request major revisions.
- Reject the manuscript.
The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the scholarly merit of the manuscript.
Revision Process
Authors receiving revision requests must submit:
- A revised manuscript.
- A detailed response to reviewers’ comments.
The revised manuscript may be returned to reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.
Confidentiality
All submitted manuscripts, review reports, and correspondence are treated as confidential documents and are not disclosed to third parties without authorization.
Publication Timeline
The journal seeks to ensure a timely review process while maintaining high academic standards. Review timelines may vary depending on the availability of qualified reviewers and the nature of the manuscript.
Ethical Standards
Reviewers, editors, and authors are expected to comply with internationally recognized standards of publication ethics, integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality throughout the review process.
