The Universal Journal of Green Human Resources and Sustainable Humanities (UJGHRSH) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, transparency, and responsible research practices. The journal expects authors, reviewers, editors, and all participants in the publication process to adhere to internationally recognized ethical principles and professional standards.

Authors’ Responsibilities

Authors submitting manuscripts to UJGHRSH are expected to:

  • Obtain necessary permissions for copyrighted materials.

  • Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the research.
  • Promptly notify the journal if significant errors are identified after submission or publication.

Authors are fully responsible for the content and integrity of their manuscripts.


Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure

The journal supports the responsible and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in research and manuscript preparation.

Authors must disclose any use of AI technologies for:

  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Statistical processing.
  • Language editing or text generation.
  • Coding and software assistance.
  • Image, figure, or graphical content generation.
  • Research organization and information synthesis.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors because they cannot assume responsibility for scholarly work.

Human authors remain fully accountable for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted content.

Failure to disclose significant AI involvement may result in rejection, correction, or retraction of the manuscript.


Reviewers’ Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Conduct objective, constructive, and unbiased evaluations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts.
  • Evaluate manuscripts solely on scholarly merit.
  • Identify relevant published research that has not been cited.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest.
  • Complete reviews within a reasonable timeframe.

Reviewers must not use confidential information obtained during the review process for personal, academic, or commercial advantage.


Editors’ Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for:

  • Making fair and independent editorial decisions.
  • Ensuring a transparent and rigorous peer-review process.
  • Maintaining confidentiality throughout the publication process.
  • Evaluating submissions without discrimination.
  • Addressing allegations of research misconduct when necessary.
  • Safeguarding the integrity of the scholarly record.

Editorial decisions are based exclusively on academic merit, originality, significance, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.


Plagiarism and Academic Misconduct

The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward academic misconduct.

The following practices are strictly prohibited:

  • Data falsification.
  • Duplicate publication.
  • Citation manipulation.

All manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism-detection software prior to peer review.

Manuscripts found to violate ethical standards may be rejected, corrected, or retracted.


Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any relationships or interests that may influence, or appear to influence, the publication process.

Potential conflicts may include:

  • Financial interests.
  • Employment relationships.
  • Institutional affiliations.
  • Consultancy activities.
  • Personal or professional relationships.

All disclosures will be handled confidentially and considered during editorial decision-making.


Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern

The journal is committed to preserving the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

Where necessary, the journal may publish:

For errors that do not substantially affect the validity of the research findings.

Retractions

For cases involving serious errors, plagiarism, research misconduct, data fabrication, or unethical conduct.

Expressions of Concern

When concerns regarding a publication are under investigation and further review is required.

Any correction or retraction notice will remain permanently linked to the original publication.


Confidentiality

Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff must treat all submitted materials as confidential documents.

Information obtained through the editorial and peer-review process must not be disclosed or used for personal advantage.
