The Universal Journal of Green Human Resources and Sustainable Humanities (UJGHRSH) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality, research integrity, and scholarly excellence through a rigorous, fair, and transparent peer-review process.
Review Model
UJGHRSH follows a Double-Blind Peer Review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
This approach promotes impartiality, objectivity, and fairness in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts.
Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial assessment by the Editorial Office and the Editor-in-Chief to determine:
- Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.
- Originality and scholarly contribution.
- Compliance with submission requirements.
- Methodological quality and academic rigor.
- Adherence to ethical and publication standards.
Manuscripts that do not satisfy these requirements may be declined without external review.
External Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
- Originality and innovation.
- Relevance to green human resource management, sustainability, humanities, and social sciences.
- Theoretical and practical contribution.
- Methodological rigor.
- Clarity and organization of presentation.
- Validity of findings and conclusions.
- Compliance with ethical standards.
Editorial Decisions
Following the review process, one of the following decisions may be made:
- Accept without revisions.
- Accept with minor revisions.
- Request major revisions.
- Reject the manuscript.
The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ recommendations and the scholarly merit of the manuscript.
Revision Process
Authors receiving revision requests are expected to:
- Submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeframe.
- Provide a detailed response to reviewers’ comments.
- Clearly identify modifications made to the manuscript.
Where necessary, revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers for additional evaluation.
Review Timeline
The journal aims to provide a timely and efficient review process.
Typical review stages include:
- Initial editorial screening: 1–2 weeks.
- Peer review: 3–6 weeks.
- Final editorial decision: 1–2 weeks after reviewer reports are received.
Actual timelines may vary depending on manuscript complexity and reviewer availability.
Confidentiality
All submitted manuscripts, reviewer reports, and editorial communications are treated as confidential documents.
Reviewers and editors must not disclose, discuss, or use unpublished information obtained through the review process for personal or professional advantage.
Conflict of Interest
Editors and reviewers are required to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to evaluate a manuscript objectively.
When a conflict exists, an alternative reviewer or editor will be assigned.
Ethical Standards
All participants in the peer-review process are expected to adhere to internationally recognized principles of publication ethics, transparency, integrity, and professional conduct.
The journal reserves the right to investigate allegations of:
- Plagiarism.
- Data fabrication or falsification.
- Duplicate publication.
- Unethical research practices.
- Misrepresentation of authorship.
Commitment to Quality
Through its peer-review process, UJGHRSH seeks to publish high-quality research that advances knowledge and practice in green human resource management, sustainability, humanities, social sciences, organizational development, environmental responsibility, and sustainable human development.
