The Universal Journal of Future Intelligence: Innovations and Artificial Intelligence (UJFIIAI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, transparency, and responsible research practices. Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence

The journal supports the ethical and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in research and scholarly communication.

Authors must clearly disclose any use of AI tools for:

  • Text generation or language editing.
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Coding assistance and software development.
  • Statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
  • Image, figure, chart, or visualization generation.
  • Research support and information organization.

AI systems, software, or language models cannot be listed as authors because they cannot assume responsibility, accountability, or intellectual ownership of scholarly work.

Human authors remain fully responsible for all submitted content.


AI Transparency and Disclosure

When AI tools have been used, authors must provide an AI Disclosure Statement that includes:

  • The name of the AI tool or system used.
  • The purpose of its use.
  • The extent of its contribution.
  • Any human verification or validation procedures applied.

Failure to disclose significant AI involvement may result in manuscript rejection, correction, or retraction.


Ethical AI Research Principles

Research involving artificial intelligence should demonstrate consideration of:

  • Transparency and explainability.
  • Fairness and non-discrimination.
  • Accountability and responsibility.
  • Privacy and data protection.
  • Security and safety.
  • Human oversight and control.
  • Societal and environmental impacts.

Authors are encouraged to discuss ethical implications where relevant.


Reviewers’ Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Conduct objective, constructive, and unbiased evaluations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts.
  • Evaluate manuscripts solely on scholarly merit.
  • Identify relevant literature that may have been overlooked.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest.
  • Complete reviews in a timely manner.

Reviewers must not use confidential information obtained during the review process for personal, academic, or commercial advantage.


Editors’ Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for:

  • Making fair and independent editorial decisions.

Plagiarism and Research Misconduct

The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward research misconduct.

The following practices are strictly prohibited:

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the publication process.

All disclosures will be handled confidentially and considered during editorial decision-making.


Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern

The journal is committed to preserving the integrity of the academic record.

Where necessary, the journal may publish:

For errors that do not substantially affect the validity of the research findings.

Retractions

For cases involving serious errors, plagiarism, data fabrication, unethical conduct, or unreliable findings.

Expressions of Concern
